When you look at these images, you get a glimpse of what life is like in faraway lands. When you go to these places and immerse yourself for a while, only then do you begin to appreciate how others live or lived in times long gone. One might come away with the feeling that today here and now is not that bad. These feelings are relative to time and place. What is more desirable is a kaleidoscope of images and experiences.
